We had a family ski chalet for many years just outside of Creemore. On the lower level, the back view was onto tree trunks. Though this painting is a somewhat abstract rendition of the view, it was immediately recognized by family members, “That’s looking out the back of the chalet!” Today this painting hangs in my brother-in laws’/sister in-laws’ home.
