This original painting is one of my favourites. Paddle Ready was created using acrylic paint and archival ink. A clear coat of epoxy resin gives a mirror-like finish and colour vibrancy. Painted on a 4″x4″ gallery-depth wood panel, it has finished sides giving the option to be displayed free-standing on a shelf or wall hung. Paddle Ready, 4×4. (sold)

This year heralds the introduction of the MAC Maker Mark – a designation given to artists and craftspeople producing work in Muskoka. Though applying brushstrokes on canvas is typically a solitary activity, engaging in an artistic community is a vital part of my life as an artist. Opportunity to share skills, exchange knowledge, hang artwork together for a show, explore new ideas, celebrate successes and learn from challenges is priceless.
